The very first thing that made me cheer as soon as I opened the door and stepped into the room was the incredible sunlight pouring in through the large windows.
It is literally a “sunlight hotspot,” keeping the room bright and warm all day long.
Plus, when you look out the window, a dynamic view of the bustling Hongdae streets unfolds right before your eyes.
Yet, inside the room, it was incredibly quiet, which was such a charming twist. Sitting by the window, bathing in the warm sunlight, looking at Hongdae outside, and drinking a cup of coffee—that is pure healing.
This fantastic view alone makes this place fully worthy of being on your top Hongdae accommodation list.
A Spacious Bedroom Even with All Suitcases Wide Open
Usually, rooms in the middle of downtown Seoul—especially in absolute hotspots—are notoriously small and cramped.
However, this Hongdae guesthouse was on another level. Even with several of us opening our large suitcases wide on the floor, there was no discomfort at all when walking around because the bedroom is so spacious.
With a large, plush double bed comfortably placed, you can get a great night’s sleep even if your travel buddy tosses and turns.

No matter how spacious the room is or how pretty the interior is, if the bathroom is dirty, you never want to go back, right?
The biggest reason I genuinely fell in love with this place was the bathroom’s condition.
The moment I opened the bathroom door, I was moved by how perfectly clean it was, without a single speck of dust or water stain.
There was absolutely no mold or musty smell, and the shower water pressure was amazingly strong. I felt so refreshed every time I washed up at this Hongdae guesthouse.
Generous Amenities and Towels Carefully Prepared
Inside the spacious and clean bathroom, all the essential supplies like shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer were generously stocked.
On top of that, there were plenty of soft, well-dried towels prepared so we could use them comfortably every day.
You could really feel the host’s thoughtful consideration in every corner.
